Description
The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) is a network of American overseas research centers (ORCs) dedicated to assisting American scholars conducting research on critical issues of U.S. national importance in 29 countries around the world. CAORC offers two fellowship programs. The Multi-Country Research Fellowship has been running since 1993 and supports transnational research in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences for scholars with a PhD or terminal degree as well as doctoral candidates who are 'all but dissertation'. The CAORC-NEH Research Fellowship, first launched in 2016, supports advanced research in the humanities in one country with a participating Overseas Research Center as a base for scholars with a PhD or terminal degree.
